Uniross Lithium drop-in replacement batteries are designed to seamlessly replace traditional lead-acid batteries in a variety of application, ranging from Alarm systems and Gate motors to Electric fences and even Solar systems. 100% Depth of Discharge

Depth of Discharge (DOD), of the amount of energy you can safely take out of a battery. Uniross Lithium batteries can be discharged to 100% of their rated capacity without causing any damage to the battery.

Lighter than Lead

Uniross Lithium batteries are up to 50% lighter than lead equivalents. For example, a typical lead 12v 100Ah battery can weigh up to 26Kg, whereas a similar Uniross Lithium version only weighs in at 11Kg. This makes Lithium batteries making ideal for portable power applications.

Long Life Cycle

The use of Li-FEPO4 chemistry allows us to achieve in excess of 2000 cycles from our Batteries. What this means for the battery user is a superior lifetime. For example, if you were to use one of our Lithium batteries on a daily basis, 2000 cycles would equate to at least 5 year lifespan for the user.

Safety

Uniross makes use of one of the safest Lithium chemistries on the market today – Lithium Iron Phosphate (Li-FePO4). It will withstand abuse like no other Lithium battery chemistry. Even if you were to subject a Uniross Lithium battery to extreme temperatures, Short Circuits or worse still, crushing the battery, it won’t catch fire or explode.

Battery Management System

As safe as the Li-FePO4 chemistry is, we still fit into each and every one of our Lithium batteries, a Battery Management System or BMS for short. A BMS is a piece of electronics that is designed to protect and manage a Lithium battery. Its fitted inside the battery and works silently in the background to ensure the safety of its user.

Bus Bars

When connecting cells together to make 12V batteries, connectors (or Bus Bars) are vital to the overall performance of the battery pack. For this reason, Uniross uses only the highest quality materials, such as copper or even pure nickel during the construction process. This results in excellent conductivity and lower resistance, which in turn, results in superior performance for our users.

Quality Control

Each and every Lithium battery that we produce undergoes a stringent Outgoing Quality Control (IQC) test before leaving our facility. We test every aspect to ensure that when you buy a Uniross Lithium battery, you’re getting a perfectly functioning battery every time.

Traceability

Each and every battery that leaves our facility, is assigned a unique barcoded serial number. This serial number gives us the ability to trace the battery throughout its life, from the moment one of our Quality Inspectors gives it the All-Clear to leave our facility, through to the day it’s installed.

Battery Testing

Uniross has one of the most comprehensive test facilities in the country. Using the same world-class test equipment found in factories like Panasonic & LG, to Universities such as Princeton, we cannot only test our batteries but also simulate real-world situations and applications.
